Firm Experience Our office has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and tax services for governmental entities, non-profit organizations and the public business sector.   Our experience has been almost entirely within Iowa and our expertise has developed within the framework of the Iowa political and economic structure.  Our audit experience includes cities, school districts, rural water districts, a county, non-profit organizations, a landfill, construction companies and health care centers. Burkhardt & Dawson, CPA's constantly monitors changes in the audit environment.  Members of our professional staff are required to particitpate in Continuing Professional Education courses which aid in the development of our specialized fields of practice.  Our firm uses nationally approved Audit Manuals for audit engagements and the assigned staff have all been trained in usage of the same.  We feel that an experienced and trained staff is essential to performing quality work.
